Dancing with the Stars has a ‘Design a Dance’ competition where the viewers vote on a dance style, song, dancers and overall concept to be performed later on in the season.

The dance style and song have already been chosen for this season (a Jive to The Go-Go’s “We’ve Got the Beat”) but you can vote for the pro dancers now! Click here to vote!

The female choices: Anna Trebunskaya, Chelsie Hightower (SYTYCD4), Cheryl Burke, Karina Smirnoff, Kym Johnson and Lacey Schwimmer (SYTYCD3). 

The male choices: Dmitry Chaplin (SYTYCD2), Louis van Amstel (SYTYCD choreographer), Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Mark Ballas and Tony Dovolani.

Every month, Los Angeles puts on a huge show to celebrate various choreographers’ accomplishments. Several choreographers showcase their pieces after a month of hard work, and this month, you might spot some familiar faces from your favorite dance shows/around the dance industry.

Billy Bell‘s Lunge Dance collective was founded last year by Mr. Bell. Billy gained national attention as a dancer on Season’s 6 and 7 of Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance. He is striving to create a new vision for dance as well as becoming a spring board of sorts for young dancers to launch their career.

Registration will begin at 8:00 AM at each venue. Auditioners traveling to cities for the open calls should make arrangements to stay for at least two days following their initial audition in the event of a callback.
